I don’t believe in the “One treatment fits all” approach. We work together from day one to ensure that your therapy matches your specific needs.
About Me
Are you feeling like your therapist isn’t really hearing or understanding you? Nervous about trying therapy for the first time? Research shows the power of connection drives roughly 60% of therapeutic success. My compassionate therapy style focuses on building bridges of trust and cultivating a meaningful connection with positive outcomes.
Hello, my name is Clint Edwards and I am a licensed clinical social worker.
- Many don’t know this, but clinical social workers are regarded as among the most comprehensively educated and trained practitioners in the field of behavioral and mental health. That’s why I chose this discipline — so that I could provide the best possible quality of care to you.
- My main focus is on helping those with mood challenges, including depression & anxiety, which are the most common conditions that we face. I also specialize in working with individuals with all types of addictions.
- I also have a particular interest in using holistic practices to help create great results for depression & anxiety disorders as well as trauma, PTSD and other mental and behavioral conditions. These include EFT Tapping, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation exercises, essential oil recommendations and Amino Acid Supplementation.
I find this work so rewarding and hope I have the privilege of working together to resolve your life challenges.
I began my healthcare professional journey in 2015, graduating in 2018. I started working in the industry the moment I commenced graduate school. I began working with children and families in foster care and progressed working with all age groups and categories from children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, families, groups, multiple crisis units including residential, forensic (parolees), a psychiatric hospital, hospice, and addiction recovery inpatient, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings.
I am now in private practice as a licensed clinical social worker since January 2022. I find this work so rewarding and hope I have the privilege of working together to resolve your life challenges.
I believe that a therapist should be educated, trained and experienced in working with all types of concerns. That’s why I went to graduate school for three years full-time (92 units-equivalent to some doctoral programs) and graduated summa cum laude (4.0GPA), have a diverse background of therapeutic experience and continue to remain current on the latest best practice approaches.
I have personally experienced mental health challenges since childhood, which continued into adulthood, alongside various addictions. For over 35 years, I’ve run a successful development company as a real estate broker and general contractor. Although it has been a fulfilling endeavor, I felt ready for a new challenge and not prepared for retirement.
Throughout my life, I’ve supported others as a friend, helping them with their mental health and addiction concerns. Their encouragement led me to pursue a career as a professional counselor.

“When I began working with Clint, I came to him with a desperation to pinpoint and attack my negative thoughts regarding my strong phobia towards public speaking. In doing CBT work with Clint, I was able to finally understand why my phobia formed, and the false thoughts that were feeding my fear. Clint was not only patient with me, but kind, considerate and determined to help me. Having someone take the time to understand my personality and condition the CBT therapy to fit my life, was a service I had never experienced before.”
